Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 4

Lot 824

1896-S Barber Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded EF-45. One of the two key dates to this important series in a very choice collector grade. Fully struck and original, with light tawny gold toning and moderate circulation marks. Mintage for the year plunged to 188,039 as orders came in light that year in San Francisco. Most seen are in low grades, not so here, with this glorious EF-45 a feast for the date collector.

Realized $1,840
