1827 Coronet Head Cent. . N-11, R1. MS-60. Lustrous steel brown with faded mint color covering about a quarter of both sides. A small splash of slightly darker toning between the date and star 13 and another at EN in CENT, plus a small planchet flake at the dentils over N in UNITED are the only marks. Late die state with crumbling at the forehead and upper lip.
