1823 Coronet Head Cent. . N-2, R2. VF-30 Plus. Very close to VF35. The obverse is frosty steel brown with mint luster covering the protected areas. The reverse is frosty light brown mottled with olive brown. A few tiny contact marks in the field under star 10 are the only defects, and they are not at all distracting. Excellent eye appeal for the grade. MDS with rim cud breaks at stars 4-5 and above star 6.
