1822 Coronet Head Cent. . N-9, R5-. About Good-3. Glossy chocolate and steel. Smooth and defect-free, just well worn. The base of the date and tops of the reverse legend outside the wreath are flowing into the rims, but everything remains readable. Rare terminal die state with a cud break at TES, and the cud is clear in spite of the wear.
