1820 Coronet Head Cent. Small date. . N-6, R4. VF-35. Sharpness EF45 or slightly better with microscopic roughness in protected areas of the reverse. There is a fine hairline scratch on the throat and a small pitmark under the right base of the E in CENT. No verdigris, and the color is an attractive glossy chocolate and light olive brown. The obverse is quite attractive, the reverse less so but still quite acceptable. Nicely struck MDS. Called EF45 net VF35 in the Noyes census, his photo #31697.
