1817 Coronet Head Cent. . N-1, R4. VF-30. Ten points sharper but cleaned and nicely retoned glossy steel brown with frosty lighter brown in protected areas. There are traces of extremely fine roughness on the obverse, but the reverse is smooth. No verdigris or notable marks, but there is a planchet void at the dentils from star 4 to star 7, as struck. Late die state.
