This lovely example is from a small run of high grade examples that were saved many decades ago, each of which is variously listed as either "AU" or "CU" in the Kelly census. "Lazy Deuces" in any grade are scarce -- less than 1,800 are currently reported for all banks nationwide -- and high grade, problem-free examples with good originality are increasingly difficult to locate.Tightly trimmed as usual, but with terrific pen signatures.
