Lot 3157

Pennsylvania. May 1, 1760 20 shillings. PCGS graded Apparent About New 50, Edge Split at Right. . Fr-PA-112. A nice Ben Franklin-printed Pennsylvania colonial whose only flaw is a edge split along the horizontal fold at right. Although housed in a PCGS "red label" holder, indicative of a note with problems, this is actually a very high grade note for this issue that usually comes notoriously heavily circulated. It has three dark, clear signatures, and the ever-important "Printed by B. Franklin" imprint is sharp.
Estimated Value $400 - 500.
