New York. Mar. 5, 1776 $1. PCGS graded Apparent Extremely Fine 45, Rust Stains. . Fr-NY-191. Although quite high grade for the issue, there are numerous tiny spots of rust that are plainly evident but not overly distracting. This denomination bears the large vignette of a sheaf of wheat, with the Latin motto "ACERVUS E PARVIS GRANDIS": translated by Newman as "Great accumulation from small things."
