New York. Feb. 16, 1771 10 pounds. PCGS graded Apparent Extremely Fine 45, Repaired Center Split. . Fr-NY-167. This is the highest denomination printed in this issue, and high grade examples are virtually nonexistent. Since they were printed on thin laid paper, notes from this issue virtually disintegrated after just a short time in the channels of commerce. This piece has been neatly repaired, and has a far nicer appearance than most we've encountered.
