1794 Liberty Cap Cent. . S-34, R5+. NCS graded Details of EF-40 Corroded. Sharpness near VF30 but covered with uniform moderate granularity under a somewhat glossy dark olive brown patina. No verdigris or marks other than a small planchet chip in the dentils over IT in UNITED. The date and legends are complete and clear. Rare late die state, Breen state III late, with a clearly raised retined cud break at the top of the cap in addition to the usual small rim cud over LI. EAC grade net VG10. The attribution and Reiver provenance are noted on the NCS label.
