1794 Liberty Cap Cent. . S-18b, R4. Fine-12 Head of 1793 with Double Chin. Glossy olive brown with frosty light brown toning in protected areas, especially on the reverse. The planchet is smooth, free of any hint of corrosion, verdigris, or flaws. The only defects are some light nicks scattered about both sides, mostly on the obverse. The date is strong and the legends are clear. MDS, Breen die state III. The bulge in the field below the cap has not formed. A very attractive example of the popular Head of 1793 type. Graded by Del Bland as F12.
