1793 Flowing Hair Cent. Wreath reverse, vine and bars edge. . S-8, R3. NGC graded MS-63 Brown. Frosty dark steel brown and chocolate with frosty lighter steel brown toning in protected areas. No spots, stains, or planchet flaws. The only marks are a barely visible rim bruise left of the L in LIBERTY and a thin horizontal nick at EH in CENT. Outstanding eye appeal. MDS, Breen die state II late. The bisecting reverse die crack is clear between the base of the first T in STATES and the dentils over the second A in AMERICA. EAC grade AU55, just a bit of friction on the highest points of the hair from mint state. Solidly in the condition census with only a single confirmed mint state example known in the EAC census. Pop 1. Finest graded S-8 at NGC.
