1927-S Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64 PQ. Old green holder. Better than average strike with excellent unmared surfaces. Frosty and white, in fact, fully original with gleaming silvery radiance. Meticulous strike on every device is what collectors look for in a walking Liberty half dollar of this vintage, but this coin doesn't quite make the "full" grade, nor do many other 1927-S halves. Just the same, the strike is much better than "representative," while the numerical condition is if anything too conservative, and obviously was carefully weighed by the grading service (PCGS # 6587) .
