1895 Barber Half Dollar. NGC graded Proof 65 Cameo. Nice white coin. Intense but still satiny frost on the devices, the coin gleaming with mirror reflection through which the silvery devices radiate. The reflective quality persists almost undiminished by hairlines. Sometimes on this issue, the devices that were left by the dies are short of the required precision due improper planchet preparation, but we find the opposite to be the case here, everything is finely detailed, including the centers. A first-rate Gem Proof. 880 Proofs struck. Pop 6; 29 finer. (PCGS # 6542) .
