1795 Washington Grate Halfpenny with Large Buttons. . Br-1271. PCGS graded MS-62 Brown. Very attractive frosty chocolate brown. Choice except for some very faint hairline scratches in the center of the reverse, and these are visible only with the aid of a strong glass. Later die state with die cracks in the obverse legend. Nicely struck with only minor weakness at ON in LONDON and the hair at the top of Washington's head nearly full. Nice for the grade. PCGS population 27 with 61 finer.
