1795 Washington Grate Halfpenny with Large Buttons. . Br-1271. PCGS graded MS-64 Red & Brown. Lustrous medium steel brown with 20% of the original mint color remaining. No spots or contact marks. Late die state with several die cracks through the obverse legend. The top of the head and opposing area at ON in LONDON are weakly struck, but everything else is sharp. PCGS population 15 with only 1 finer.
