1902 Liberty Nickel. NGC graded Proof 66. A nice untoned example. An unusually high quality coin for the date, this specimen displays riveting lustrous mirror surfaces, is untoned, with great eye-appeal. Not to be overlooked either, the devices that were left by the dies show fine precision due to strong die pressure from the specially prepared Proof dies, but it is often found on 1902 Proofs and therefore should be expected. Pop 78; 12 finer; 1 in 66 Star; 11 in 67. (PCGS # 3900) .
