Lot of Ornately Decorated Silver Boxes. Mostly Russian or Eastern Europe, c. 19th - early 20th century. Best is a gilt box with an allegory of two birds on the lid, and the Russian Imperial Eagle, in quaint rustic style on the base. Others similar. Also an openwork box, perhaps in white metal. Plus, a fine box, perhaps French, with remains of enamelling. Last, a Russian niello and silver handled frame for tea glass. Many of the piece still retaining Butterfields lot stickers. Widths: 2-1/2" - 3-3/8". Lot of 6 items.
