Delightful Examples of Ivory Netsukes, many Antique or Vintage. Japan, c. 19th - 20th century. Some mythical and fokeloric beings here, plus animal studies and genre subjects. Included: an amusing seated and cloaked Daruma, whose eyes pop out; perhaps Daikoku; a boy hugging a fish; a geisha with huge Star Wars-like hat; an old man selling fruit; and more. Close inspection suggested. All attractive; many with polychrome or toning. Heighths: 1" - 2-1/2". Many pieces signed. Lot of 12 items.
