Lot of Engravings and Lithographic Prints. Mainly European. Lot mainly of engraved or lithographic illustrations pulled from contemporary antique books, ranging from the 17th to 19th centuries, mostly with subjects of Classical antiquity. Others are replica illustrations of famous artworks of the past; plus some original art of scenics, genre, etc. Eye-catching is a lithograph by Alaskan artist, on yellowish paper, of a "Chilkat Dancer," with dramatic and theatrical lighting; signed in pencil, "Fred MacKetanz Edition 100." Inspection suggested. Condition of items varies widely. Sizes generally range from quarto to folio. Nearly 40 works of paper art.
