RIAA Certified Platinum Record - Steve Martin. Platinum record for Steve Martin's "Let's Get Small" with plaque reading: "Presented to Russ Thyret to commemorate the sale of more than 1,000,000 copies of the Warner Bros. Records long-playing record album ''Let's Get Small." Attractively matted and framed to an overall size of 21½" x 17½". Excellent condition; the frame has been changed and has a few dings. Everything else is original. The first of Martin's comedy albums, "Let's Get Small" was released in 1977; it won a Grammy in 1978. The title of one of the tracks, "Excuse Me," became a national catch phrase.
