RIAA Certified Gold Record - Alice Cooper. Gold record for "Billion Dollar Babies" with plaque reading: "Presented to Warner Bros. Records to commemorate the sale of more than one million dollars worth of the Warner Bros. Records long-playing record album 'Billion Dollar Babies'." Attractively matted and framed to an overall size of 21½" x 17½". Excellent condition. Frame has been changed. Everything else is original. Alice Cooper was born Vincent Damon Furnier. "Alice Cooper" was originally the name of Furnier's band; he legally changed his name to Alice Cooper. He is considered the founder of shock rock. "Billion Dollar Babies" peaked at #1 on Billboard's Pop Albums chart when it was released in 1973.
