Les Paul Guitar Signed By Les Paul. Les Paul guitar signed on the off-white pick guard in black felt tip pen on 2 June 2003 at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City, according to the PSA/DNA LOA that accompanies it. The sunburst body has been airbrushed with a youthful likeness of Les Paul, who was a pioneer in the development of the solid-body electric guitar and in recording studio techniques. Paul and his wife, singer Mary Ford, recorded hits such as "How High the Moon" in the 1950s. Paul is a member of the Grammy Hall of Fame and the Inventors Hall of Fame and has influenced countless musicians. In 2006, at the age of 90, he received two Grammys and continued performing weekly at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City.
