Screen-Used Executioner's Axe From Original "Addams Family" TV Series. This prop executioner's axe was issued by the prop department of the original, 1960s television series "The Addams Family" and was used by cast members as required by the story line. The wooden handle is 24" long and the curved iron blade is 8½" by 5¾". It was acquired from the set, then sold at auction by Ellis Props, the oldest prop house in Hollywood. The television series revolved around a bizarre, gothic family that was a satirical version of the nuclear American family. With COA from Hollywood Prop Supply.
