(Paramount) Clara Bow - by Otto Dyar (1905-65) Actress and sex symbol in the 1920s and early 1930s; known as "The It Girl." 14" x 11" double-weight vintage photo by Otto Dyar. On verso is a handwritten note: "Clara Bow 12/7/28" and a stamp granting permission to use the photo in magazines and newspapers, with a request to credit Paramount Pictures and Dyar. A paper snipe notes "…No matter what the season…Clara Bow, star of Paramount films, finds her way to the water's edge…." Fine condition; paper clip mark at upper left, crease in upper right border, and minor border toning. Encased in mylar for preservation.
