(Hesser, Edwin Bower) Mary Pickford. Three original, vintage photographs, two made at the same sitting. All are 16 ¼" x 13 ¼". the two similar photos are marked "361 NG" and "365 NG" on the verso; the third has the number "35". One has a tiny white speck in Miss Pickford’s hair; one has light soiling in the borders, not affecting the image; the third has major "bites" out of the top edge and is missing the lower left corner. No imprints on either, but all of these were made by Hesser, were in his possession at his death, and were purchased by the consignor from Hesser’s widow over 45 years ago.
