(Hesser, Edwin Bower) Carol Lombard. Two original vintage 13 ½" x 10 ½" photographs with Hesser’s blind embossed stamp at lower right plus stamped imprint on verso. One waist-length photo emphasizes Lombard’s beautiful eyes; it has some spotting on the neck and a tiny chip missing at lower right edge; numbered "402" in blue pencil on verso. The full-length photo has some background spotting; it is numbered "407" in pencil on verso. Without the blemishes, these photos would be estimated much higher. These photos were purchased by the consignor from Hesser’s widow over 45 years ago.
