Marilyn Monroe and Joe Dimaggio Honeymoon Photo. Limited Edition 8x10" silver gelatin print of Marilyn Monroe and Joe Dimaggio in February 1954 as they landed in Japan on their honeymoon. Handsigned and numbered by photographer Kashio Aoki on the back. Excellent condition.
When the couple landed in Japan, they had to wait on the plane for two hours because of the crowd awaiting their arrival. Pan American Airline precious cargo steward Kashio Aoli asked permission to take pictures of the couple, which they graciously allowed. Aoli kept the photos for 46 years, until 2001, when he contacted Edward Weston and a Limited Edition of 75 was created for Marilyn's 75th birthday.
