(Disney) "Song of the South" Limited Edition Hand-Painted Cel. Number 128 of 350., issued in 1986 by The Walt Disney Company, 11" x 145", attractively matted and framed to an overall size of 17" x 21". Seal at lower right says, "Original hand-painted movie film cel / The Walt Disney Company Certified." The scene shows Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox and Brer Bear from Sequence 3, Scene 31 ("The Lauglin' Place"). Information on verso states that the original cels are no longer available and "the Studio has recreated the artwork using special techniques" whch are described, and that the background scenes "have been faithfully reproduced by a Disney background artist…" Excellent condition. Ready for display.
