Case of Lowell, Mass., datelined Boston, 5 July 1833, with extensive information on a meeting of those "friendly to the principles of the old democratic party" at which they agreed to form "a ticket with a view to unite the Republican party in the support of the National and State Governments upon the principles which brought Jefferson and Madison into power…." More political content, with reference to the "Democratic Republicans…".
