Japanese WW 2 Army Officer Sabre. This junior officer's sword with an overall length of 38", has an arsenal made nickel plated 30 inch blade with simulated temper line. The guard and backstrap in bronze with a wire wrapped black horn grip. Average wear on the guard with some gilding remaining in the recessed areas, the blade still bright with only very minor tiny pitting. The steel scabbard is well worn but presentable having light overall oxidation. A nice example of a sought after second world war Pacific theatre artifact.
Estimated Value $250 - 350.

Realized $357
