Early 20th Century Knight Templar Sword. This exceptionally nice example of a Templar ceremonial dress sword was made by The Cincinnati Regalia Co. Ohio, to an overall length of 37". The highly decorated etched and gilt 28" blade is custom named to "Harry L. Ward". The ivory grip is inscribed and inked with the Templar Cross and "HW". The base with head of a medieval knight, decorated quillons and an armour helmet as pommel, all gilt. The highly decorated and gilt scabbard, also named to Ward, is embellished with red and blue enamel on the crosses. Some age toning but excellent condition overall.
