Moynihan from Jewish leaders: two from Chaim Vivian Herzog Signed "Vivian," as President of Israel, 1983 and 1985 about possible visits (one notes: "The matter has as yet not been cleared between the governments involved"); one 1985 TLS from Benjamin Netanyahu Signed "Benjamin" as Israel's U.N. representative, regarding galleys for an article from a collection to be published under the title, Terrorism: How the West Can Win; one 1995 TLS from Jerusalem major Teddy Kollek ("Teddy"), with good content ("It seems that our region and the United States are finally ready to accept Jerusalem as our capital…."); and one 1996 TLS from Prime Minister Shimon Peres ("…the road to peace is not a simple one…it is easy to despair…let us not forget our responsibility to secure a brighter future for our children…."
