Galli-Curcy, Annelisa (1882 – 1963) Italian operatic coloratura soprano, highly regarded during the early 20th century. She toured widely in Europe and South America and sang with the Chicago Opera Company (1916-24) and the Metropolitan Opera (1921-30). Sepia-toned 14x11" Photograph by Strauss Peyton, New York, Inscribed and Signed, "To Mr. J.C. Higgins Jr. with very best wishes / Amelita Galli-Curci / 1931." Very fine. Estimated Value $200 - 300.
