A Colorful Collection of New & Antique Stamp Seals. China, Europe, 19th - 20th century. Seals fashioned in carnelian and agate, jade, ivory, silver, porcelain, rose quartz, soapstone, and steel. Some simple chops, but most with well carved foo dog or chilong finials. Most with Chinese characters on base. Also included are European desk stamps: one a fine Baronial piece of twin stamps with ivory handle; another with colorful bakelite handle, from the Deco Period; a Louis XVI-style with lovers in a garden; a small stamp with a boar's tusk handle. Also an antique Tibetan seal with four swastikas as a device. Heights: 1" - 3-1/4". Worth a good look, some fine examples of this age old traditional tool. Lot of 17 items.
