China. Vintage to Antique Lot of Jade Plant and Animal Carvings. Circa 16th -20th century. Carvings in celadons and greens, grays, brown, and boldly colored red. Items: pendants resembling a sword guard; plaques, and an urn; other vegetables, often combined with animals; a nice horse, a duck, monkeys, and foo dogs. Three of the youth carrying plant. Lengths: 1-3/4" - 3-1/8". Skillful carvings. Worth a good look. Lot of 19 items.
