China. A Lot of Vintage to Antique Jade, More Animal Carvings. Circa 17th -20th century. Items in celadons, greens and browns, plus one red & tan. Includes: studies of foo dogs (two with their young); a deeply inletted koi on lily pad; a charming squirrel; a bat amidst foliage; two items with mythical beasts; and a nice antique study of a frog. Most intricate is a carving of a dragon, curled in clouds, taking advantage of the different color zones of the red & tan jadeite. Lengths: 1-3/8" - 3-5/8". Most neatly carved, and appealing. A worthwhile lot. Lot of 11 items.
