1799/8 Draped Bust Cent. . S-188, r-4. PCGS graded VF-20. Ten points sharper but covered with very fine granularity under a slightly glossy light steel brown patina, the reverse a couple shades darker than the obverse. The date is strong and the overdate is clear. No verdigris or notable marks. Not perfect but one of the sharpest examples of this classic rarity to enter the marker in some time (PCGS # 1446) .
