1787 Fugio Cent. Pointed rays, cinquefoils, "STATES UNITED". . Newman 22-M Rarity-5+. VG-7 Rotated Reverse. Glossy chocolate brown. Smooth and quite attractive for the grade, a tiny planchet void in the center of the obverse the only defect. Late die state. The dies are heavily clashed and the center of the obverse is bulged out a bit while the outer regions show the details of a higher grade. The date and obverse legends are strong, and the reverse legends are nearly complete. The reverse is rotated 150 degrees CW from a normal head-to-foot orientation.
