1787 Fugio Cent. Pointed rays, cinquefoils, "STATES UNITED". . Newman 13-R Rarity-5+. VG-8. Glossy chocolate brown with olive brown in protected areas. There is some extremely fine roughness under the thick glossy patina, but overall this piece is nice for the grade. The obverse is a couple points sharper than the reverse. The only defects are a small planchet chip on the rim right of the sun and an even smaller one in the center of the sundial. The date and obverse legends are strong but the details in the center of the reverse are weak due to swelling.
