1787 New Jersey Maris 52-i Rarity-3 VF20. Outlined Shield. Glossy medium brown with light olive and reddish chocolate in protected areas. There is a dusting of microscopic verdigris around the 1 in the date; otherwise the surfaces are very nice for the grade. The date and legends are bold. Weight 143.6 grains.
