1787 New Jersey Maris 38-c Rarity-2+ EF40. Outlined Shield. Choice glossy medium brown. Smooth, virtually flawless surfaces that offer outstanding eye appeal. The only defect is a small, beveled planchet clip (as struck) that affects the dentils left of the shield but is barely visible from the obverse. Struck slightly off center to the bottom leaving the lower quarter of the date off the planchet and a wide rim at the top. A premium example and a great type coin. Weight 154.4 grains.
