1788 Connecticut Miller 16.2-O Rarity-5 F15. Draped bust left. Glossy chocolate brown with darker olive brown toning in protected areas. There is a dull rim nick above at the top of the obverse and a small patch of light corrosion at the left base of the L in LIB. Specks of greenish verdigris remain in the corrosion patch. Otherwise free of marks. A small planchet clip at the top of the reverse does not reach the legends or devices on either side. Late die state with a strong bisecting die crack slanting across the reverse. Weight 132.3 grains.
