1788 Connecticut Miller 2-D Rarity-1 VF25. Mailed bust right. Partial Brockage on Reverse. Sharpness EF40 with uniform microscopic granularity covering the planchet. No verdigris, planchet flaws, or contact marks. Dark reddish steel brown. There is a small planchet clip affecting the rim above the back of the head. In addition, the left half of the reverse has a strong incuse brockage impression from the obverse of a previously struck example that was still in the press when this one was struck. An impressive striking error. MDS with the cud break at the shoulder just starting to form. Weight 107.5 grains.
