1787 Connecticut Miller 21-DD Rarity-6 VF25. Draped bust left. Ten points sharper but covered with microscopic roughness and there are traces of verdigris in some of the most-protected areas. The roughness and crud are not visible to the unaided eye, and the surfaces are otherwise free of defects. Slightly glossy mottled mix of dark chocolate brown, medium brown, and reddish brown. Nicely struck with the date and legends all bold, the only weakness being on the bust tip. Better than the Perkins example of the variety. Weight 143.3 grains.
