Lot 700

1787 Connecticut Miller 33.31-gg.2 Rarity-6 VF25. Draped bust left with ET LIR reverse. Choice glossy medium brown. Virtually flawless except for the usual minor planchet chips that weaken the details on the face and opposing area at the base of the seated figure on the reverse. Late die state with a slightly raised retained cud break right of the date and strong die clashmarks in the field before the forehead. The date and legends are bold, including the ET LIR error. A premium example of this rare variety. Weight 139.1 grains.
Estimated Value $200 - 300.

Realized $575
