Fr-1528. 1928-C, $5 Legal Tender Note. Mule. . Fr-1528. . KL-1642. PCGS Extremely Fine 45. Another great rarity from the Brooklyn collection, this from the rarest block in the $5 Legal Tender series. There are only about a half-dozen G-A block 1928C mules known, and this is by far the nicest that we know of. Specialists will likely have to wait many more years before having the opportunity to own a high-end example of this rare note, and we expect spirited bidding before the hammer falls.
