1871-S $5 Liberty. PCGS graded VF-35. Scarce date. The hints of remaining luster have an occasional orange tint. The reverse field has a couple of tiny contact marks, but the coin is relatively attractive despite 25 points of wear on the 70-point grading scale. Only 25,000 minted (PCGS # 8324) .
