India, Kushan Empire. Vasudeva II, c. 290-310 AD. Gold Dinar (8.02 g.). King in military attire sacrificing left at lit altar, holding trident. Reverse: Shiva facing, with trident and wreath, Nandi bull behind, tamgha at left. Gõbl, Kushan, 653. Minor die shift at the feet, but faces wonderfully sharp. Highly lustrous. Bold and attractive, on large flan. About Mint State.
